Last Tuesday Jordan had his follow-up appointment with his neurosurgeon. Dr.
Welch showed us Jordan's CT scan, MRI scan, and
angiogram images which was pretty cool. Apparently, Jordan has larger than normal cavities (these are kind of hollow areas in the brain that has no brain matter, just spinal fluid) in his brain, which the doctor thinks made his headaches worse than most peoples with this condition. So I have been teasing Jordan that he has huge hollow areas in his brain,
haha!
Overall Jordan is at an increased-risk for having another brain hemorrhage the next 5-6 months so he must be careful. No straining or really hard workouts, although he is allowed to start working out again and being more active SLOWLY. Wish me good luck on keeping him reigned in! Otherwise, he is good to go. There won't be any long-term effects. He never has to see Dr. Welch again and there will be no more follow-up imaging, unless something goes wrong. So good news!
