A Christmas Ornament Tradition

When I was 16 my mom started giving me a ornament every year for Christmas that represented something that happened that year. I love this tradition!2001- turned 16 & could drive
2002-We can't find this one and can't remember what it was! haha I guess it was a boring year!
2003-turned 18 and could vote
2004-1st year at Baylor
2005-She got me this soccer ball early in the year for playing at Baylor but then I quit and began rushing for a sorority so she got me the peacock too.
2006-turned 21-these are corks (kinda hard to see in the pic)
2007-Got engaged
2008-Wedding
2009-Texas ornament since we lived in Alabama and were missing Texas!
2010-this year she strayed a little from the tradition to get us this tree topper
2011-nurse angel since I nursed Jordan back to health with knee surgery and brain hemorrhage this year (she tried to find a brain ornament but for some reason couldn't find one! :))

Our new place!

We moved in October, and I'm just now putting up pictures. Woops! Anyways, we love it! It's bigger than our last place, has a backyard with a dog door, and a garage. It's a little further out from Dallas than we really wanted, but it's not been that bad getting to school and work for Jordan.

Victory!

We went to the Baylor-OU game this year, and Baylor won!!!! It was the first time EVER that Baylor has beat OU! My brother, Travis, is a senior at OU so he was pretty bummed but it sure was an exciting milestone for Baylor Football.

GO ARMY BEAT NAVY!

The Army Navy game is on today on CBS! It's quite an experience to go to this game-you must try to get to one someday if you have never been. Jordan is always excited to watch this game every year. I think his memories of West Point grow fonder with every year since his being there. Here are some photos from the 2006 game, such good memories!Fly-over before the game.

Isn't he so handsome in his uniform!
The marching is my favorite part-it's truly amazing!
Lining up before the marching outside the stadium. Jordan hated this. They had to be there so early and it was always freezing!
This is Jordan's company.

No Fence!

We moved into a new place at the end of October (I will post pictures soon once I get the Christmas decor up!). It's perfect because it has a backyard for Major. We really needed one because sometimes Jordan is out of town and I'll be gone for about 13 hours at a time when I'm at the hospital. My dad put in a dog door so our problem was fixed. Anyways, I came home Monday night after being gone all day and came home to this:
No fence! They decided to take down the old fence and put up a new one! They never notified us so I left Major at home, and he apparently had free reign that day but he didn't run off! He is just the most wonderful dog because he was still there waiting for me to come home!
